This recipe is from the Clawhammer Supply YouTube channel which we amended with double the marshmallows (their recommendation) and more lactose for sweetness. If you like sweeter and stronger 'dessert stouts' then you'll love this. We toasted the marshmallows over a wood fire (see our video) for smokey, toasty notes. 7% ABV which factors in the sugar added by the marshmallows.
You'll need 100g of marshmallows per litre to brew this which are not included.
Malt: Maris Otter, Chocolate, Roasted Barley, Flaked Oats, Crystal
Hops: Fuggles
Yeast: WHC Bond (dry). Can be upgraded to Wyeast 1028 London Ale (liquid yeast 'smack-pack' activator) in pouch.
Comes with lactose, dextrose for priming, sanitiser and instructions.
Wyeast is suitable for experienced brewers, we only provide one pack per kit & we recommend making a starter.
