Wine & Beer Hydrometer

Hydrometers are essential bits of kit because they enable you to follow the progress of fermentation. As sugar turns to alcohol the hydrometer slowly sinks. When fermentation is complete, the hydrometer stops sinking. Using the scale on the hydrometer you can calculate the Original Gravity, Final Gravity and establish the ABV of your brew.
