Named after the custom dry hopping device they use, this is a zesty citrus kick in the pants clone of Sierra Nevada's Double IPA Torpedo. It comes in at over 70 IBU so it's bitter but brought into balance by the caramel malty notes and zesty dry hop. 7.2% ABV.
Malt: Pale, Crystal
Hops: Citra, Magnum, Crystal
Yeast: US-05 American Ale (dry). Can be upgraded to Wyeast 1056 American Ale (liquid 'smack-pack' activator) in pouch but a starter will need to be made to ensure adequate pitch quantity.
Comes with dextrose for priming, sanitiser and instructions.
This product is not affiliated with Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. It is purely a clone we have trialled and enjoyed ourselves.
Wyeast is suitable for experienced brewers, we only provide one pack per kit & we recommend making a starter.

Torpedo all grain kit has been out of stock for several months. I've emailed using the address on the website to ask about it, no reply. Emailed again, again no reply. Nobody answers the phone, there is no voicemail and you get cut off after a very short while anyway. One of the reviewers of the company's mini 5 litre keg referred to a big problem with non-communication so there's obviously an endemic problem here.
The fact there are more products on our store out of stock than in stock and our phone doesn't get answered should send you a message. That message is: we are closing down and once all on hand stock has gone the website will disappear. We're pleased to see your commitment to kicking us in the teeth involved trawling the website to find the only review (4-star) mentioning communication issues, though. Peace!
